OOTD: Marveling Vespas

Black Cardigan: F21
Black Long-Sleeve: Target
Leggings (more like tights..): F21
Scarf: H&M
Bag: Coach
Shoes: Just Fab

Charm Bracelet: Juicy Couture
Ring: Armed & Readi
Nail Polish: OPI: Skulls & Glossbones

Note: Never take photos on a busy street and almost get run over by a Vespa like I did. LOL.

An all black ensemble was my go-to and I contrasted my black apparel with a printed scarf and cinched this cardigan with a skinny black belt.
Next time, I'll remind myself to wear a jacket later on in the day to avoid freezing and to also remember that Vespa drivers can run you over in an instant while taking pictures.

Fall Into Style: For the Fanatics

Football season is in full force, and of course I thought I'd share my own take on keeping it stylish while supporting your favorite sports team.

With friends that are huge Giants fans, it's only natural to cheer on for Big Blue. I am not the biggest football fan but I'm always down to see a game.
Also because I like Victor Cruz and his salsa skills. Like, how can you not.

If you don't own a jersey or any sports apparel, you should definitely check out Fanatics.
They have a huge selection of NFL jerseys and apparel for you to choose from at fantabulous deals.

So what's a gal to wear to a Giants game or even a fun viewing party with your closest friends?

Here's a fab idea featuring this totally cute and Kim-approved Giants jersey from Fanatics!

I am obsessed with the shimmer lettering on this jersey and the oh-so awesome bold colors that us Giants fans get to sport.

As my friends could all tell you, I am one to dress up for any and every occasion and that definitely includes a football game.
Here are some cute outfit options that you can pair with your favorite jersey even if you aren't a Giants fan.

Bottoms:
Edgy leather leggings or some classic high-waisted jeans

Spice it up with some leather or keep it cool and casual with some jeans

Shoes, Shoes, Shoes:
I'm a total fan of booties and heels especially in this weather. Boot it up!

Accessories:
Add some arm candy

Armed & Readi

Throw on a bow

Ta-da girl, you are ready to go :D

And of course, if you don't Instagram an outfit, did you really wear it?
Make sure to tag @fanatics and @naturallykimmy on Instagram with your fabulous outfit!

Fall Into Style: Bold Prints & Boots

Hi, my name is Kim and I have an obsession with boots and all things cheetah.

One thing I love about Fall is the copious amounts of boots I get to wear on the daily.

Thank you to my best friend for taking these pictures during one of the coldest Fall days we had.

Like, I don't know how I didn't get frostbite.

I also succumbed to wearing my hair natural this day which is a rarity when you have wild, Simba-like crazy hair.
One of the few instances you will see me rocking curly hair.
When you have hair like mine, straightening it is a job in itself.
I'd love someone to do it for me. Any takers?

Dress: Zara
Boots: Bandolino
Clearly the coffee got to me...

And no post is complete without one of the cheesy poses that I am notorious for.

Stay warm!

Fall Into Style: New Hair, Don't Care

They say when a girl changes her hair, she's ready to change her life...or something like that.
I am accepting change as it comes in my life and embracing it completely.
I love experimenting with my hair and wanted to keep my lighter locks from the summer.
So, I opted for a dark chocolate brown that faded into the light brown/blond hair color I had this summer.

I got to go home and enjoy the beautiful leaves, quietness, and luxury of not having to pump gas.
(I'm a Jersey Girl, what do you expect?)
Apart from spending time with my family and enjoying the craziness that is my family, I got to take some pics in my lovely yard that is adorned in leaves.

Necklace: Armed and Readi

Boots: JustFab

Thanks to my 7 year old kid brother and ability to take pictures (future photographer in the making)!
Let's cut to my OOTD:
My go-to look these days? Leggings, boots, cardigans, and statement jewelry.
Super easy. Super fast.
I like to call this my lazy day outfit.  Yes, my lazy day outfit.
To some this may be trying too hard, but I'd like to think I can jazz it up a bit more.

P.S. It's almost Halloween and I'm totally DIYing this year...we'll see what I come up with ;)

Fall Into Style: Print Work

Pants: New York & Company

I went on a recent shopping trip with my bestie Sarah and picked up some jazzy new printed pants.
I like to call them my J.Lo pants since they accentuate my curves a whole lot.

I paired my these babies with a simple black button down.
I made sure to tuck it in to flatter my waist and give it sort of a high-waisted look.

It was definitely one of those days that called for some flats and not boots.
My legs would have suffocated in a pair of boots by the end of this day.

I topped it off with the fab statement necklace from Armed & Readi along with my favorite arm candy.
I'm obsessed with this Essie color called Carry On. Totally fall-esque.
But of course, I needed some pink sparkles and heart in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

My wardrobe mostly consists of black, black, and like more black.
So, I thought I'd change it up with these fabulously printed pants.

I'm ready for leggings, riding boots, and scarves galore!

Until next time...

Fall Into Style: Armed & Totally Readi

Here's my first post from my new series I'd like to call Fall Into Style...

Are you totally readi for my latest news?

I am excited to announce that I am a new Brand Ambassador for a fabulous jewelry and accessories  company called Armed & Readi!

They have absolutely adorable bracelets, rings, gorgeous statement necklaces and more.

Onto a lovely OOTD featuring my Armed & Readi arm candy of the day...

MK watch, 3 Alex and Ani Bangles, 2 Armed and Readi Bracelets

I am so obsessed with this white bangle and jewel bracelet. They totally complimented my per usual A & A bangles and MK watch.

I woke up in the morning just totally feeling fall-esque, and I wanted my style choices for the day to reflect that. I love this cardigan by Brooks Brothers and especially that the rich, deep violet/magenta/some variation of purple color. I added a belt to cinch my waist. A great add on and tip for curvy girls everywhere!
Although it got so much warmer later in the day and I was dying of heat on my way to class, it was totally worth wearing.

Shoes: Just Fab ankle booties

Kate Spade Wallet

Brandy Melville leggings

As a girl with a big derrière, it's difficult and nearly impossible to find a pair of affordable and underwear hiding leggings. Brandy Melville is now my go-to for these babies. I'm absolutely addicted to these leggings and I will definitely be picking up more.

And as always here is a totally candid Kim moment.

Keep Calm and Fall on <3

The Ultimate Type of Girlfriend

I'd like to dedicate this post to my amazing, beautiful, and crazy best friend Francina and to all the amazing girls who are always there when I most need them.

In this world, we are truly blessed with amazing people in our lives and most certainly the ones we call our best friends.

Maybe you are adventurous, caring, and crazy Serena and she is ambitious, aggressive, and feisty Blair (depending on who wants to keep Chuck Bass...).

She's the person you call on a bad day. You tell her about what's going on. Maybe it's a boy. Maybe it's your family. Maybe it's school. Maybe everything is just pissing you off that day.
Sometimes you feel like a broken record; yet, she continues to listen to it.

She listens to you cry and tries to help you mend a broken heart. She comes over with chocolate and anything that would make Jillian Michaels cringe. You have a romance movie marathon and cry either from laughter or at Ryan Gosling's plea for Allie to love him in The Notebook. You have nicknames and inside jokes that no one understands. You are never afraid to say anything because no filter is the only filter you need around her.
She stays on the phone with you late at night to talk about anything and everything.

Maybe it's just like Carrie Bradshaw surmises,
"Maybe girlfriends are our soul mates and guys are just people to have fun with".

We plan our weddings, think about our children's names, and incessantly talk about: boys, the horror of having to shave our legs constantly, Chipotle, Pretty Little Liars, and just straight up girl problems.

They support you, love you, and tell you the stone cold truth when you need to hear it. They aren't afraid to tell you to put your big girl panties on or to let you know that those shoes do not go with that dress. They are your biggest supporters and of course #1 accomplices.

In honor of Girlfriend's Day, I had the grand idea to take that day as a date night:
A date night for none other than my best friend and I.

I love a good GNO and honestly recommend you make them happen as often as possible.

Forever 21 skirt, top, Just Fab heels, Alex & Ani bangles, MK watch, Juicy Couture bag

Maybe it's going to the movies, grabbing dinner, stuffing your face with desserts, walking down the city streets at night, visiting a museum, driving around the city and blasting Lady Antebellum until your ears bleed, window shopping at Chanel, or taking outfit pics on the Upper West Side.
Whatever it is, make it fun, memorable, and totally fab!

Always time for selfies on a boat in
Central Park

Never forget to cherish your BFF  <3

Thoughts of an Aspiring Fashionista

Shoes: JustFab

I don't know if it was the countless hours of watching Carrie Bradshaw grace the streets of New York City in her Manolos or flipping through editorials in fashion magazines in high school but somewhere along the way, I dreamt about the idea of working in fashion. You should always know what you're passionate about. Thus, I cannot deny my love of shoes, shopping, and dressing up without needing an excuse to do so.

As my college career progresses, interning is becoming an important task to accomplish before graduation. Lately, I find myself sending countless resumés and emails in hopes of getting an interview from some of the most prestigious fashion houses and companies in the city.

I have recently been given the opportunity to interview for a popular and upcoming blog as a Public Relations intern. You would expect for me to worry about the interview process or questions but instead my first thought was:
What on earth am I going to wear?!

After much deliberation, I styled a professional and functional outfit that not only expresses my own personal style, but also encompasses the bright, vibrant aura of this upcoming summer.

Dress: Cynthia Rowley
Cardigan: Forever 21
Arm Candy: Michael Kors Watch in Rose Gold,
Alex and Ani Bangle in Rafaelian Gold

As a business major and a daughter of two entrepreneurs, it's only natural to aspire to have my own business. Ultimately, I want an empire. Not the Queen Elizabeth II kind, more like the Lauren Conrad or Kimora Lee Simmons kind (although I wouldn't mind being related to the fabulous Kate Middleton).

Do you think it's far-fetched? It definitely is.
Will it be hard and a lot of work? Of course.
Do you think that will stop me? Not one bit.
